FOCUS wins a NAIOP Award of Merit for Metro Offices-Greensboro Station.

Our design team participated in this highly anticipated fashion show in which architecture firms and suppliers partner to create dresses from building materials. We were happy to partner with 3M this year and had a great time making our dress! Check out our behind the scenes story here. 

Our staff bonded through rope courses, mud pits, and fire in the highly anticipated Warrior Dash of 2014. Want to see our staff looking like the warriors we are? Check out our photos here. 

FOCUS has been awarded several projects for GSA tenants throughout the United States. Some of the tenants include USCIS, Department of State, Fish and Wildlife, FEMA, CBP, and others. These projects are located in the District of Columbia, Virginia, Texas, Alaska, and Louisiana. For more information contact Aaron West. 

FOCUS attended the open house of re|DISTRICT in DC. The newly re-branded furniture vendor (originally Supply Source) opened their doors to many of the designers in the DMV area to show off their new look and company vision.

FOCUS was excited to design 3 of the now popular Lost Dog Cafe Restaurant locations.  This Gourmet Pizza Deli serves as a popular hotspot for a few beers and a great pizza.  These restaurants are a great mix of creative design and fun decor to give each Lost Dog a personality of its own.

Some FOCUS employees attended a community fair promoting environmentalism to everyone in their daily lives. There were recycled handcrafts and workshops using common recycled materials. Check out what we made!

The whole FOCUS  crew spent the day at Hemlock, where we were presented with challenges and group tasks  helping  to promote one of our company ideals that we are strongest when we work together. Check out our adventure!

FOCUS  along with Donohoe and Caliber Design, Inc. created a great new open studio for the new My Thrive Pilates located out in Arlington!  Check out the new Studio!

FOCUS  has become the architect and designer for many of the Metro Offices in the DC metropolitan area.  Metro Offices is an 'business center' concept for small to large companies needing a space to utilize with well trained customer service professionals.  FOCUS was excited to see the completion of the most recent Farragut location.  Check out the New Space!

FOCUS was recently featured in Patcraft Commercial Carpet website for our sleek installation of commercial carpet in a corporate environments and workplaces at our recent VSE Corporation project.

FOCUS completed the Carney, Inc.  project. Expanding the space, we  created an open, fluid and versatile space for Carney to best apply their "Performance Acceleration" motto.  This space allowed FOCUS to not only use color, and product to create this very contemporary and technology driven feel. FOCUS entered a chair (Modern Twist) into The Modern Classic Chair Competition this year.  The competition is a juried exhibition of 15 Eames molded plastic chairs turned by industry professionals into modern art.
